Following their defeat on Thursday against AFAD in a postponed week 8 match, AS Denguélé will attempt to bounce back on Sunday against JCAT.

The Odiénnékas were defeated 1-0 against the Académiciens de Djékanou, who thereby took over the lead in Group B and still remain unbeaten this season.

With the same number of points as AFAD, JCAT could take power if they manage to inflict a third consecutive defeat on their opponent of the day, and if the leader slips up in Yamoussoukro against ASC Ouragahio.

Now lying fourth in the group with 11 points after having been beaten by Société Omnisports de l’Armée on Wednesday, ASEC Mimosas must secure a win against ES Bingerville if they don’t want to be outdistanced in the race for the Super Division.

But the Banlieusards have just strung together two consecutive victories, winning back their confidence after a catastrophic start to the season.

In Group A, Africa Sports can level up with the leader, Séwé Sport, in the case of a win against Stella Club d’Adjamé on Saturday.

The Aiglons are enjoying a good run, having not lost a single championship game this year.

Lying third in this group, EFYM have remained unbeaten in their last four clashes and now head to Abengourou to tackle ASI, fourth-placed with a match in hand.

Finally USC Bassam host the Indomptables d’Issia Wazi for a bottom of the table duel.
