Super Division debuts 7 July
Super division 2012
The Super Division is exclusively reserved for the top six teams from pools A and B of the first phase, and will finally decide the successor to the Aiglons.
The outgoing champion who did not qualify for this final stage, will thus only be able to watch the performances of ASEC Mimosas, Séwé Sports de San-Pedro, AFAD, JCAT, Stella and USC Bassam from a distance.
Over six weeks (or less according to the match programme), Ivoirian football lovers will follow fixtures each as appetizing as the next, for example the first week’s clashes that will see Stella club d’Adjamé and AFAD, USC Bassam and ASEC Mimosas and JCAT and Séwé test each other’s mettle.
But before the kick-off of this second championship, the Professional League will conduct its launch on Wednesday 4 July 2012 during a colourful ceremony, according to Sory Diabaté, first vice-president of the Federal Bureau and leader of the LPF.
