Royal Leopards were this evening booted out of the CAF Confederation’s Cup after going down 4-2 to Tunisia’s Club Africain at the Stade Olympique Stadium in Tunisia.

Inspite of leading  2-1 at half time after wing wizard, Zweli ‘Mlilo’ Nxumalo scored in the fifth minute when he received a Barry Steenkamp cross, finished off with a low shot for the opener and Barry Steenkamp added the second goal in the 29th minute minute when he beat the goalkeeper, Ayem Ben Aymb, the Swazi side could not stop the wave and wave of the Tunisian side attacks.

With the score line reading 2- all draw on aggregate the Swazi could not take advantage and paid the price.

Hamze Agebu pulled one back in the 38th minute as the Tunisian pulled its way back into the game and when Izekel Indowassel scored the equalizer in the 56th minute it was evident the Tunisia having the support of over 20 000 fans were in the driving seat. Striker Zced Zyadi added the second goal in the 49th minute with a deft finish and then captain Bille Ifa laid the lacerating pass for Hamza Agebi to score the fourth goal to send the rapturous home crowd into delirium.

Royal Leopard are out of the CAF Confederation’s Cup after losing 5-2 on aggregate.
