Cooreman heading back to Kaduna Utd?
Cooreman unhappy at Warri Wolves
Cooreman sensationally dumped broke Kaduna United earlier this season, but he is widely believed to be unhappy at Warri Wolves because of interference in his job.
Kaduna United long-serving chairman Sabo Babayaro simply brushed off Cooreman’s reported return, while insisting on talking only about his team.
Cooreman led Kaduna United to their first-ever major piece of silverware, the 2010 Federation Cup.
Babayaro, on the other hand, promised to ensure the team stay put in the top flight after a difficult start to the season following the departure of Cooreman and over a dozen top stars.
Kaduna are just a point above the drop zone with six rounds of matches to be played.
“By the special grace of Allah, we will not be relegated. We shall do all we can to remain a premiership side at the end of the season,” Babayaro said.
“Surely it will be tough but we have put our house in order to ensure we don’t lose any more games in the remaining part of the season, while ensuring that we win all our remaining home games.”
He further stated, “We started the season not too well and lost some of our best players and coach to other clubs, but gradually we have been able to put together another team of determined and hard working players who are willing to spill their blood to keep us in the premiership.”
