Don’t discount Mazembe-Kalaba
Rainford Kalaba
The four-time champions beat Zamalek 2-0 on August 5 in Lubumbashi to collect their first Group A win and recover from a poor start to move into second place on four points from three games played.
“We are capable of reaching the finals of the CAF championship because we have team spirit.
The team has experienced players who have quality,” Kalaba said.
“We just have to win. Mazembe is a good side and I can assure you that we will win.”
Mazembe are five points behind the unbeaten leaders from Egypt Al Ahly whom they host next on September 2.
