The AshantiGold glove man has been consistent in the Ghana Premier League over the past six seasons.
In November this year, he made his full debut against Liberia in September and kept a clean sheet as Ghana beat Cape Verde 1-0 in a friendly international in November.
The 27-year-old was a third-choice goalkeeper for the Black Stars at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations finals on home soil but never kicked a ball.
The AshantiGold glove man had a good tournament in general and was named Man-of-the-Match in their quarter-final clash against Cape Verde.
He finished the first round of the tournament having conceded two goals. Dauda convinced all that he deserves to be number one, ahead of Norway-based Adam Kwarasey.
