Richards nearing City return
Manchester City's Micah Richards
The defender is nearing the completion of his rehabilitation to his knee, after undergoing surgery in October.
It is understood that the match against Aston Villa, on March 4, has been the date penciled in for his return, but Roberto Mancini is still waiting for the all-clear from club medic Andy Williams.
Richards has not played since being stretchered off in the 1-0 win against Swansea on October 27, where he was forced to go under the knife to repair a meniscus tear in his right knee.
The severity of the damage cause in his knee is one that cannot allow him to rush back onto the field and City will do well to put him back on the park with ease.
