Super Eagles have assured that hostility and a poor pitch will not stop them from victory in Liberia on Saturday.

Report by the NFF advance party to Monrovia have revealed that the Eagles should expect a hostile reception in Liberia and that they will be playing on a very poor pitch at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium.

However, Chelsea winger Victor Moses has maintained that the bad state of the pitch will not be an excuse for the Eagles not to fly past the Lone Star on Saturday.

Reports from the advance team led by technical committee chairman Chris Green reveals that the SKD Stadium pitch is bumpy with pockets of holes capable of causing serious injuries.

"I don't think the state of the pitch would affect our play. We just want to go play football. So, we are not concerned with the state of the pitch," said the new Chelsea signing.

Russia-based striker Emmanuel Emenike has also assured that the jibes and tough talk by Liberia would only fire up the Eagles for the big battle this weekend.

"We have hearing and reading the comments from the Liberian team but that is not our concern. What I want to assure Nigerians is that we will not disappoint them in Monrovia,” said the Spartak Moscow striker, who is set to play his first match under coach Stephen Keshi.

"I am personally challenged by my invitation to do more for my country. So, with the spirit in camp, I can tell you that we are battle ready for the Liberians."

we should turn the results of the advance team into positivity and beat them silly, anything outside an outright win, wont be good..we need to qualify for next years AFCON........God on our side we shall overcome...
