Orlando Pirates midfielder Isaac Chansa says Zambia will not drop any further points in Group A at the Africa Cup of Nations and will be ready for Equatorial Guinea this weekend.

Chansa said that Zambia will add to the four points they have garnered on January 29 in their final group match against the co-hosts in Malabo.

"It is tough but we still believe in ourselves," Chansa said after Zambia finished 2-2 with Libya in their penultimate Group A match on January 25.

"We still believe we will do better in that match but obviously we have a couple of days to prepare and we will prepare for it very well."

Chansa had an outstanding game for Zambia against Libya despite the game being played on a waterlogged pitch at Estadio de Bata following a tropical storm.

Kick off wasdelayed for at least an hour as groundsmen fought to drain the pitch of water.

Zambia needs a draw or win this Sunday to join Equatorial Guinea in next Wednesday’s Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinals.

Co-hosts Equatorial Guinea have booked their quarterfinal place with a game to spare on six points, but will know after Sunday’s game against Zambia of their top two status.

Libya and Senegal, who also meet on Sunday in their final Group A match, have one and zero points respectively.
