Zambia crash in Saudi Arabia
Kangwa - Scored Zambia goal
Wednesday’s match was part of Zambia’s build-up to the defence of the continental crown they won in Libreville, Gabon, in February.
Zambia’s lone strike came in the 71st minute through Nkana striker Evans Kangwa.
The goal was Kangwa's first for Zambia since November 26, 2011 after scoring on his senior debut away in India in a 4-1 win against Goa Select.
Meanwhile, coach Herve Renard took a side comprising of 16 home-based players and four based abroad for the friendly that did not include Christopher Katongo, Rainford Kalaba and goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene.
Zambia have also lined up warm-up games against Tanzania, Morocco and Norway ahead of the Nations Cup in South Africa.
They are drawn in Group C with Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Ethiopia.
