Tough weekend for Saidi and Harbaoui
It was a tough weekend for Tunisian internationals Karim Saidi and Hamdi Harbaoui in Belgium Pro League.
More so for central defender Saidi who was unable to stop Mons from scoring three unanswered goals past Lierse. The Tunisian international had one of his worst perfromaces in a Lierse shirt as he was unable to stop a rather timid-looking attacking pair of Mons.
The loss for Lierse now means they are only two places outside of the relegation zone in 14thplace in the Belgium Pro League standings.
It was also a disappointing weekend for Tunisian striker, Hamdi Harbaoui, as he was unable to find the back of the net in a goal feast on Sunday as his Lokeren side lost 4-3 to Genk after taking an early lead.
Genk fought back to go 3-1 up before finding two goals to level matters only for a goal five minutes from time to hand Genk the win.
The result sees Lokeren remain in third position on the log with 33 points, but they are closely followed by Genk in fourth with 32 points. Still, both teams are a fare distance off the league leaders, Anderlecht, who have 40 points.
