Côte d’Ivoire: Lamouchi calls-up 28 players

The Elephants coach Sabri Lamouchi has called-up 28 players to oppose Senegal in their Afcon 2013 qualifier.
So it is a large group that the former French international has called on for the visit by the Teranga Lions on Saturday 8 September at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny d’Abidjan.
Cheick Tioté, Kafu Coulibaly and Seydou Doumbia, all convalescing, have obviously been left off the list, but the names of goalkeeper Copa Barry and versatile defender Jean-Jacques Gosso, who were uncertain at a time, are indeed there.
None of the available top players have been excluded from the list, but Lamouchi nevertheless reserved a few surprises with the addition of three novices for this crucial rendezvous.
These are the young twenty-year old striker from Wolfsburg who is currently on loan at Panathinaikos, Ibrahim Sissoko, and two players currently competing in the Ivoirian championship.
The French-Tunisian technician has shown his confidence in Séwé Sports de San Pedro ‘keeper Badra Sangaré and ASEC Mimosas young playmaker, Jean Michaël Séry.
The 28 Elephants will be preparing from 4 to 7 September at Sol Béni, making use of the ASEC Mimosas facilities.
