Emenike recalled by Eagles
Both strikers Ideye and Emenike have been in fine form for their European clubs and have now been rewarded with a chance to prove they can score in a green-white shirt.
The strikers are among 11 overseas-based professionals picked for the September 8 Nations Cup qualifier in Monrovia.
Others on the squad are Victor Moses, who has completed his transfer to Chelsea, as well as new Real Betis signing Nosa Igiebor.
There is no place for Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi, defender Taye Taiwo and Osaze Odemwingie, who features for English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.
