Kwadwo Asamoah
In the starting line up for the first time in the Africa Nations Cup, having missed the opening match, Kwadwo Asamoah did not disappoint.
Playing out wide on the left flank, the Udinese of Italy player used his opportunity to run at Mali and cause danger when he had the ball at his feet.
In the first half he was very busy, letting rip with a low, swerving shot that the goalkeeper did well to keep out and then followed it up with a cross-goal shot that was the only real highlights for Ghana inside the first 35 minutes.
Asamoah worked hard the entire match until he was given a rest in the 87th minute and he combined brilliantly with his Udinese teammate Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu as well as Dede Ayew and Asamoah Gyan.
