Tournament Review:

This natural born leader was undoubtedly one of Zambia’s top assets as he went on to net three goals in six games.

His goals against Sudan, Zambia and Equatorial Guinea were fundamental in carrying the squad through to the final.

Katongo also set the pace for Zambia as he cancelled out Chiek Tiote’s opening penalty in the shootout during the final of the tournament.
