Constant back for Guinea
Sadio Diallo of Guinea
He returns to a 20-man squad that will host Niger in Conakry on Sunday in the first leg of the final round qualifier for the 2013 finals in South Africa.
French-born Constant had refused to play for Guinea in the tournament in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea after helping them to qualify. He also missed the World Cup qualifiers in mid-June but has seemingly had a change of heart after discussions with sports minister Aboubacar Titi Camara, the former St Etienne and Liverpool striker.
He joins a squad made up mainly of foreign-based players and marked by the return of the French-based pair of Abdoul Razzagui Camara (Sochaux) and Sadio Diallo (Stade Rennes), who missed the friendly against Morocco in Rabat last month.
German coach Gernot Rohr has been appointed the new national coach of Niger and will debut in charge on Sunday.
Rohr coached co-hosts Gabon at the Nations Cup finals earlier this year but when they were eliminated in the quarter-final his contract was not renewed.
Niger were among the surprise qualifiers for the 2012 finals but lost all three of their group games in Gabon.
