One of Africa’s greatest ever football exports, Samuel Eto’o is regarded as one of the top strikers in world football.
Eto’o came through the ranks at Real Madrid before moving onto to Mallorca in Spain after failing to get his chance at Real.
He then joined Madrid’s arch rivals Barcelona where he fulfilled his potential, winning numerous honours including the UEFA Champions League on two occasions.
Eto’o went on to play two seasons for Inter Milan in Italy and helped them win a treble of league, cup and Champions League in his first campaign with the club.
In 2011, the four-time African footballer of the year, who has over 100 Cameroon caps to his name, signed with ambitious Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala.
